i just wanna run to you, and break off the chains, and throw them away...

Well hello, deviantworld. I'm currently recovering from the H1N1 virus, aka 'swine flu'. Yes, I am still alive, I know, shocking, from what the media is making it out to be. Was it fun? No. I was out sick for an entire week (and am still recovering). I went to the hospital, but they just told me to go home and take flu medicine. My mom called a special hotline after 6 days of being fevered, the trip to the hospital, and all the other lovely symptoms (though thankfully, no vomiting). They just said keep me well hydrated and rested. That prompted my mom to go buy a lot of gatorade (apparently it hydrates better then regular juice?), and to refuse to let me go see my horse, which was not good, haha.

But, anyways, as I said, I'm getting better. Finally. Thank goodness.

School is going well, I think. I haven't been in a week, so, not entirely sure. Apparently about 20% give or take is out with the flu. Including a few teachers. Should be interesting. I'm doing well so far though, so that's good. I got the second highest average for last year, second only to my best school friend, which was pretty awesome. Nerd much? haha.

Went to grade 9 band camp to clinician - it was really fun. It always is. Got some of my guy friends on a horse, which was pretty amusing. Seriously, watching someone panic because their foot fell out of their stirrup, and they can't get it back when their horse is the SLOWEST out of all the plodding trail horses, well... made me laugh, haha.

Photographing the wedding in two weeks, still a little nervous, but excited too.

Ringo is doing alright. He's just finished recovering from a hoof abscess, which is good, but he hasn't been back to work yet since I've been sick. So yeah, he's had nearly three weeks off, which is the most he's had in the over three years I've owned him. It's going to be interesting, to say the least. I hopped on him, bareback and in a halter (yes I had a helmet) in the indoor ring today. Oh, he thought about taking off, but he just walked forward, listening surprisingly well to my leg cues. Haha. We have a horsemanship clinic coming up in November, which should be awesome.

That's all for me, I guess. I'll try uploading - I've got my Europe pictures selected, but I'm going to upload them last out of this batch. I just want to make it last, I guess, haha.
